the tigers wife

I'm reading a great book right now called The Tiger's Wife, by Tea Obreht. It's about a woman and her relationship with her grandfather, in an unnamed country that may or may not be based on Croatia (Obreht's home country). There's a lot of myth and memories involved, and it's just really well written overall. I recommend it if you're looking for a good read.
